QUINFLEX – Soundproofing
Expanded polyurethane sound-absorbing panels with non-planar surfaces are particularly effective for reducing reverberation in treated rooms, since they act simultaneously on three different acoustic principles:
- The first of these is the most classic: sound absorption by porosity.
- The second is diffraction
- The third principle, which makes non-planar sound-absorbing panels effective in acoustic terms, is simple geometry.
These materials can be used in air conditioning ducts, engine compartments and in housings for very noisy machinery. They can also be used in industrial aspiration and ventilation containers, recording studios and music rooms, and in any other setting requiring extreme reduction of high frequencies and heat insulation in general.
