ISOLMMELAMMINA is a fire-resistant open-cell expanded melamine resin, with class 1 fire-resistant properties and a pyramid-shaped structure. It is available in sheets of 1200×600 mm (thickness 50/70/100 mm). It can be applied using non-toxic water-based acrylic adhesive to polypropylene liners for clean surfaces, or using modified acrylic adhesives for more critical applications.
It can be used as a sound absorbent in air conditioning ducts, engine compartments and in housings for very noisy machinery. It can also be used in industrial aspiration and ventilation containers, in recording studios and music rooms, and in any other setting requiring extreme reduction of high frequencies and heat insulation in general.
